On March 5, Benchmark held its Annual Awards Gala, an evening dedicated to honoring the incredible impact of Benchmark associates who bring passion, purpose, and connection to our communities every day. This special night was complete with delicious food and drink, plenty of mingling, and heartfelt remarks from CEO Tom Grape as individual associates and entire communities were honored for their contributions in 2025. This week, Benchmark hosted another successful, two-day Lead Aide Training at our Home Office. Dedicated community care associates spent time sharpening leadership and communication skills that help frontline teams stay aligned, respond calmly in the moment, and provide more consistent support - so residents experience smoother days, more connection, and better continuity of care. Thank you to all participants who made this session just as fun as it was meaningful! Here’s to continued learning and the positive impact it brings to our associates, residents and families.
Today we’re spotlighting Devon Jantzen and Allison Decoff - two friends who both connected their calling at Benchmark. Their connection goes back to a previous company, where Devon hired Allison to step into her role. She was immediately impressed by Allison’s talent, professionalism, and how naturally she connected with others, and the two have stayed close ever since. In January 2025, Devon joined Benchmark at Tatnuck Park as Director of Business Administration (DBA) and quickly knew she’d made the right choice; thanks to the strong community leadership team and a supportive network of peers. So when Devon heard about an open DBA role at Benchmark’s Shrewsbury Crossings community, she knew Allison would be a perfect fit. Devon shared the opportunity, Allison applied, and she’s been thriving in the role ever since. As Devon and Allison can attest, there’s nothing better than working somewhere you feel supported, connected, and fulfilled; except maybe getting to do it alongside a friend!
