Recently, the Louisville and Cincinnati areas were hit by record snowfall - the most seen in 30 years! With the Aurora terminals team shipping out more packaged salt than they could replenish, the CGB Salt Team had to find a way to meet the soaring demand for salt sales. In extreme subfreezing temperatures and blistering cold, a group of dedicated Consolidated Terminals and Logistics Co. logistics employees stepped up, left our corporate office in Covington, and headed to Indiana to help run the bagging line. Without their efforts, production would have been minimal, if not impossible. CGB extends a heartfelt thanks to everyone who came to Aurora to assist!
FarmCon 2025 in the books! The CGB team kicked off the New Year with active discussions on the topics shaping the future of agriculture. Topics ranged from macro overviews regarding international trade and weather outlooks to ag-tech innovations and market strategies. Special shoutout to CGB’s resident expert Mike Mock for his panel insight on where ag markets are headed to help all navigate the road ahead! His knowledge and forward-thinking perspective are invaluable to all in our ever-changing market!
Recently, we gave Southeast Missouri State University's Ag safety class a tour of our Scott City, MO location. We discussed a variety of safety systems and how they can be applied to different processes in various areas of the agricultural field. Specifically, in how individuals can protect themselves and those around them. A big Thank You to all those involved in making this a successful and informative event.
What a fun day painting Lacy's future home! CGB and Zen-Noh Grain Corporation have always enjoyed supporting Habitat for Humanity St. Tammany West and the Women Build event! Since 1981, Habitat STW has built over 300 affordable homes for deserving families in our community. We can't thank them enough for letting us participate in their mission to change lives!
