For the fifth year in a row, Cortland has been awarded the Great Place to Work certification by the Great Place to Work Institute! SafeHouse Outreach, a nonprofit organization in Atlanta serving those experiencing homelessness, has honored Cortland with its inaugural Sewell Pillar of Support Award! SafeHouse presented the award to Cortland during its annual gala on October 12th to recognize the lasting impact our associates have made in the community. We began partnering with SafeHouse in 2022 during Cortland Commitment Week, our annual week of community service. The experience developed into a long-lasting relationship of service, teamwork, and dedication to excellence. Since then, countless associates have come together to grow and transform the SafeHouse Outreach facility that many of its employees and guests call home. In addition to our recent inclusion on Reputation's 800 award and J Turner's 1% award, Cortland scored a hat-trick by earning a third prestigious industry award: The Kingsley Excellence Elite 5! This award recognizes the five top-performing multifamily companies across Grace Hill’s three main client tiers, with Cortland being in Tier 1 for having more than 30,000 apartment homes. We are incredibly honored to have earned this achievement!
Cortland is honored by the inclusion of many of our communities in two prestigious awards: the Reputation 800 Awards and the J Turner Research Elite 1% ORA® Power Ranking! Based on feedback received from both current and prospective residents, these awards highlight just how successful our teams truly are at providing excellent service and an above-and-beyond experience. Cortland had 195 communities make Reputation’s 800 Awards list, accounting for 87% of our US portfolio, and two of our communities, Cortland Delray Station and Cortland Sugar Land, tied for the highest Reputation X score in the entire industry at 957. In addition to this, we had 26 communities make the Elite 1% ORA® Power Ranking, with Cortland Alameda Station, Cortland Brackenridge, Cortland Gateway all in the top 100 rated communities in the nation. We are excited to have earned these awards, and could not be more grateful for and proud of our dedicated teams who make it all possible.
