April was National Volunteer Month — and our team showed UP. 🙌 In April alone, our teammates logged 716 Volunteer Time Off (VTO) hours through our Purple with Purpose program, bringing our 2026 total to 1,378 hours and counting. But the numbers only tell part of the story: 🍋 Through virtual Lemontree sessions during our annual professional development event called RemarkableYou, our team spent 294 hours digitally connecting 6,527 households to free food resources — $130,500 worth of food across 821 zip codes. Proof that virtual volunteering creates very real impact. 📦 And a huge shoutout to our Atlanta teammates, who packed over 6,000 boxes of food for the Atlanta Community Food Bank this month. This is what Being Remarkable looks like in action. We're so proud of every single person who gave their time this month.
Sometimes the biggest impact starts with the smallest seed. In this case, a $2,500 grant from HealthEquity Community Foundation helped Wasatch Community Gardens grow incredible results: 💜 12 women received paid employment, job training, housing support, and mentoring 🌱 45,000 veggie starts and 1,000 edible perennial seedlings were grown 🤝 5,000 pounds of fresh produce went to community members in need 🌟 78% of participants secured jobs or enrolled in educational programs within 60 days This is how we live our commitment: empowering people to build healthier and more stable futures. We’re proud to partner with Wasatch Community Gardens in their vital work and grateful to our teammates who make HealthEquity Community Foundation possible.
