In the session he presented the practical use cases & live demos while also covering important topics like: - How CI-CD can streamline cloud development on GCP - Multi-Tiered Application Deployment using CloudBuild & CloudDeploy The webinar was followed by a 15 minutes Q&A session in which Mr. Singh also shared the links to his Github repositories.
Mr. Pradeep Kirnapure, Distinguished Engineer, Hughes Systique has shared his insights with Dataquest for an article on how “AI and Edge computing are advancing autonomous systems (such as drones)”. He started by mentioning, “Autonomous systems, such as drones, must perceive, analyze, and respond in real-time to operate effectively in the physical world. AI and edge computing is pivotal in enabling these functions,”. Mr. Kirnapure then divided the article into the said three segments of “Perceiving, Analysing and Responding”, for the readers to understand the complex technologies of AI & edge computing in relation to autonomous systems, with ease. He concluded the article with the thought that, “As technology advances, AI-driven drones will become even more integral in fields ranging from defence to environmental monitoring.”.

This year’s BPC was conducted in hybrid mode at the Gurugram campus with presenters & participants joining virtually as well as in-person. This allows teams and managers to learn and implement the tried, tested and reliable best practices.
Celebrating the 78th Indian Independence Day at Hughes Systique, we did it with plenty of activities and our “Josh” high. August 13 & 14 witnessed participation of HSCians in great numbers who showcased their patriotic sides with contests such as the Plant Pot Painting, shoot that straw & some good old, Kite flying. For those who could not participate in person, participated in the Online Quiz or dressing up in the hues of the tri color with their team members and sharing their pictures with us. Finishing the activities with a hearty & delightful meal accompanied by a “Tiranga” Barfi, completing the theme.
Mr. Vinod Sood, MD, Hughes Systique, was invited as a speaker at Jaipuria Institute of Management’s CXO Conclave. Mr. Sood spoke about, “The Intersection of Agility & Compassion in Leadership” while also addressing the broader theme of,“Building Compassionate & Agile Organisations: New Leadership Agenda”. The conclave took place at The Lalit in New Delhi and was attended by industry leaders from across sectors and members of the academia.
Mr. Ashutosh Kothiala, VP – Engineering, Hughes Systique, was invited to participate in the Steering Committee meeting of SRM University, AP at their campus in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. Mr. Kothiala was joined by industry experts from the industry & SRM University's Leadership team. The primary purpose of the meeting was to discuss the future plans and to find out ways in achieving them successfully, especially in the area of Skilling, Training and Placements. Mr. Kothiala emphasised that students and teachers should focus on understanding the concepts, get to the bottom of concepts and study not only from the perspective of scoring marks in the exams. They should try to understand the logic & rationale behind each concept. He reiterated that, “Learning is a continuous process with a focus on concept clarity rather than rote. It is imperative upon the academia for the students to be introduced to the various facets of the IT industry, early on in their academic journey. This would help them in identifying the pros & cons of each IT function and therefore aid them in making informed decision to choose a career in the field where they find their calling.”.
