We have been awarded a contract with ENKA İnşaat ve Sanayi A.Ş to work on the detailed engineering of the low carbon hydrogen production plant (HPP1) at the Stanlow Manufacturing Complex in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. This project developed for Essar Energy Transition (EET) Hydrogen, is at the forefront of the UK’s energy and industrial decarbonisation strategy, being the country’s first large-scale low carbon hydrogen production facility, forming the core of the Hynet Cluster. HPP1 will have a production capacity of 350MW and is expected to capture approximately 600,000 tonnes of CO2 annually—equivalent to removing around 250,000 cars from the road.
