This expanded partnership also supports the Genetic Center of Excellence program commitment to establish standardized, best-in-class genetic screening for patients and egg donors in Prelude's network.

Today, Labcorp announced it has entered into an agreement to acquire select assets of BioReference Health, a wholly owned subsidiary of OPKO. Through this transaction, Labcorp will acquire BioReference Health’s laboratory testing businesses focused on clinical diagnostics and reproductive and women’s health across the United States outside of New York and New Jersey. This transaction includes patient service centers (PSCs) and certain customer contracts and operating assets. BioReference Health will continue to offer oncology and urology diagnostic services nationwide, as well as maintain its full operations in New York and New Jersey. We look forward to providing patients with expanded access to comprehensive, high-quality clinical laboratory services while enhancing our laboratory services network nationwide.
For the third consecutive year, colleagues across Labcorp rallied together to lift the spirits of hospitalized children through the “Cards of Encouragement Campaign.” More than 2,000 of our employees created and submitted just over 6,500 cards that, with the help of nonprofit Cards for Hospitalized Kids, will be distributed to 62 children’s hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses around the globe.
Labcorp is excited to partner with Tigerlily Foundation and Maimah Karmo, Tigerlily founder and CEO, to eradicate barriers for medically underserved communities to be included in clinical trials. As we jointly launch our I Am Included Framework, our hope is that this actionable framework will enable site leaders to leverage the insights and best practices to make clinical trials more inclusive everywhere.
