Community service has always been a core part of Lamar’s culture. Recently, our Baton Rouge employees volunteered with the Baton Rouge Food Bank, packaging 1,200 bags of nutritious food for children at risk of going hungry when school meals aren’t available as part of the Backpack Program. This effort marks the beginning of our new partnership with First Tuesday, a volunteer movement committed to supporting different nonprofits on the first Tuesday of each month. After 26 years of dedicated service, the Springfield, MO office celebrated the retirement of Gloria Nidiffer. Gloria’s kindness, hard work, and positive spirit have left a lasting mark on Lamar, and we are truly grateful to have had her! To make the occasion even more special, three of her General Managers from over the past 25 years joined for the celebration. It was a meaningful day honoring both Gloria and her incredible journey with Lamar!
