Mason Health proudly celebrated the arrival of our new high-field open MRI with a small ribbon cutting last week with our construction partners, the Shelton-Mason County Chamber of Commerce, Mason Matters and Mason County Public Health - the MRI will be fully in service in 2026!
Mason Health's Birth Center felt the love from the Warrior Angel Riders and the Mason Health Foundation Endowment Committee's Pediatric Fund - a total of $29,535 were donated to support a new ultrasound system through the Bikers for Babies campaign! Thank you to everyone who supported this event!
September is National Emergency Preparedness Month, a time to spotlight the essential work being done to keep our hospital ready for anything—from natural disasters to power outages, infectious disease events, and everything in between. At Mason Health, we are proud to honor Toni Meyer, our Program Manager for Emergency Management and Physical Environment, for her outstanding leadership and dedication to our organization’s safety and resilience. Toni works tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure we are not only prepared for emergencies, but also trained, drilled, and ready to respond. From coordinating emergency operations plans to managing regulatory compliance and leading disaster exercises, her work strengthens every part of our facility's readiness. Toni recently participated in the Disaster Preparedness outreach event in Hoodsport (pictured). Thank you, Toni, for all you do!
Mason Health was proud to complete construction at Mason Clinic Eye Care last month. The Eye Care clinic space was remodeled to accommodate a new exam room for additional Eye Care specialty providers. Mason Clinic leadership, Mason Health Senior Leadership and representatives from partners Abbott Construction, OAC Services, Inc., and ZGF Architects attended the small ribbon cutting event, as well as Mason Health Foundation Arts Commission leadership and Shelton-Mason County Chamber of Commerce CEO Deidre Peterson. Mason Health will continue to undergo construction into 2026 to accommodate for improved patient experiences, including new flooring, the installation of a new high-field open MRI, an expanded cafeteria and more!
