SMG operates 7 RMNs globally, delivering campaigns that engage consumers, showcase brand value, and drive results for retailers. This week, we’re spotlighting Deliveroo Media’s “Curating a Range of Joy” campaign with Sky and Publicis Next. The campaign reinforced Sky’s position as a leader in premium at-home entertainment by connecting with Deliveroo Media’s audience of consumers who genuinely enjoy staying in. By using quick-commerce as a brand-building channel, the campaign proved how high-attention retail media environments can drive relevance, consideration, and impact.
Each quarter at SMG, we celebrate the people and teams who bring our values to life through our quarterly awards. Our Values Awards recognise those who go above and beyond, while Campaign of the Quarter spotlights standout client work and impact. Congratulations to our Q1 winners: 🚀 Stay Hungry - Lucy Fegan ❤️ Stay Honest - Rhiannon Brown 🔎 Stay Foolish - Sam Jarps 😁 Have Fun - Jess Hannigan Campaign of the Quarter went to Deliveroo Media and HBO Max for “Redefining the UK’s Most Valuable Moment.” A huge well done to all our winners!
Everything we do in connected commerce at SMG is powered by our people - with leadership that drives us forward every day. We’re really proud to see Rosie Houston, Managing Director, UK Retail Media Networks; Katie Streeter Hurle, CEO; and Helen Johnson, Managing Director, {Capture} & Plan-Apps, named in the Performance Marketing World Powerlist 100. 💛 Having Rosie, Katie and Helen recognised on this list is a fantastic moment. As three of our women leaders at SMG, they’re also shaping the culture around them - building strong partnerships, developing talent, and inspiring our teams.
Sometimes the best way to end a quarter… is to slow down. For our End of Q1 social, we did exactly that with Tea & Talk: Connect & Craft - a moment across our offices to pause, connect, and focus on wellbeing. Across our locations, teams came together to: ☕ Catch up over tea, coffee, and some seriously good snacks 🌿 Get hands-on with DIY terrariums (thanks to SMGreen) - a simple, mindful activity to slow down and get creative 🎨 Take part in journaling & collage workshops led by the People of Colour ERG and In My Cerebellum - creating space for reflection and expression

It’s an honest look at the uncertainty that can come with moments like this - and the difference the right support can make. If you’d like to read her full story, you can below.

Recently, our SMGreen team brought together 16 volunteers from across our London hub for a day out on the River Lee in Hackney 🌿 SMGers from {Capture}, Plan-Apps and Media teamed up with Canal & River Trust for the second time, supporting their work to protect and restore the UK’s waterways. A proper team effort - getting stuck in, working together, and doing something positive to support our local environment. Big thanks to Canal & River Trust for having us back!
