Happy Holidays from nVent!
Our production supervisors are uniquely skilled professionals who oversee manufacturing processes for a variety of value streams. They coordinate and facilitate daily operations of the assigned value stream to provide adequate resources, ongoing work direction, and problem solving to ensure business goals are met. On top of that, they are responsible for leading large teams of operators – which means a large portion of their time is spent leading people.
Leading companies conduct employee surveys to measure engagement, organizational health, manager/team effectiveness and culture. At nVent, we take employee feedback seriously and use it to create a stronger workplace that employees are proud of. Our people thrive in an environment where they can bring bold ideas, be authentic and build the future of a more sustainable and electrified world because their input is taken into account.
We are proud to share our Chair and CEO Beth Wozniak, was honored last night as the Twin Cities Business Person of the Year! Beth, thank you for your leadership. Congratulations on your accomplishments!
Today is International Day of Persons with Disabilities. We celebrate our partner Rise, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded on the belief that everyone deserves opportunities to achieve meaningful growth and live a purpose-filled life. Its programs in Minnesota and Wisconsin take a whole-person approach, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible through supportive access to employment, housing, and life-enrichment services. Rise was recently one of the organizations featured on the 100th NYSE Christmas Tree. We are proud of our longstanding partnership, which has spanned more than four decades, and Rise’s mission to unlock potential and open doors to success for people with disabilities or other challenges. #InternationalDayofPersonswithDisabilities #Inclusion #WeArenVent https://bit.ly/412izYA
Recently our teams around the world celebrated Corporate Compliance & Ethics Week, which shines a spotlight on the importance of compliance and ethics. The core principles of the week are awareness, recognition and reinforcement. Here at nVent, we focused on awareness. Employees played games to help them get to know our Ethics & Compliance team, and better understand our policies. Of course there was food too! #CCEW #WeArenVent Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE)
The 100th annual lighting of the NYSE Christmas Tree was today, and we are excited to share this special opportunity by spotlighting our long-time partner, Rise, Inc.! As a commitment to non-profits and charitable organizations, NYSE-listed companies can dedicate an ornament highlighting an important organization they support. Rise is a nonprofit organization that works to unlock potential and open doors to success for people with disabilities or other challenges through creative solutions and customized support. For more than four decades, a group of Rise employees has worked at the nVent facility in Anoka, Minnesota. nVent is Rise’s largest work site as well as its longest-tenured. We are grateful for the opportunity to recognize their mission and work. #NYSETreeLighting https://bit.ly/3EdeQv7
