De Functie
Als Sales Representative ben je verantwoordelijk voor het opbouwen en beheren van langdurige relaties met coffeeshops, waarbij je ervoor zorgt dat ons merkportfolio goed wordt vertegenwoordigd, compliant is en commercieel succesvol binnen belangrijke regio’s. Je fungeert als het primaire commerciële aanspreekpunt voor coffeeshop‑eigenaren, inkopers en personeel, stimuleert sell‑in en sell‑through, en vertegenwoordigt de waarden van het bedrijf in de markt.
Wat Je Gaat Doen
Accountmanagement

Beheren van een portfolio van coffeeshop‑accounts binnen toegewezen regio’s en onderhouden van sterke relaties.

Regelmatig contact onderhouden met coffeeshop‑eigenaren, inkopers en budtenders om hun behoeften, voorkeuren en verkooptrends te begrijpen (wekelijkse bezoeken).

Presenteren van het productassortiment, seizoenscampagnes en nieuwe SKU‑introducties, in lijn met bedrijfsdoelstellingen.

Controleren van orderverwerking, levertijden en voorraadsituaties in samenwerking met logistiek en winkels.
Sales & Groei
-
Maandelijkse en kwartaalverkoopdoelstellingen behalen door actieve promotie van productlijnen.

Kansen identificeren om distributie uit te breiden en schappositie te verbeteren binnen bestaande accounts.

Marktinformatie verzamelen (prijzen, concurrentieactiviteiten, consumententrends) en inzichten rapporteren aan het commerciële team.

Onderhandelen over commerciële voorwaarden binnen vastgestelde bedrijfsrichtlijnen (bijvoorbeeld LTO‑programma’s).
Branding & Merchandising

Zorgen voor zichtbaarheid in de winkel binnen de Nederlandse regelgeving voor marketing en communicatie.

Ondersteunen bij implementatie van POS‑materialen en training van coffeeshopmedewerkers m.b.t. productkennis.

Optreden als merkambassadeur en het bedrijf vertegenwoordigen op beurzen, klantenbijeenkomsten en coffeeshop‑netwerkevents.
Rapportage & Compliance

Nauwkeurige CRM‑registraties bijhouden van klantinteracties, menu‑informatie en feedback.

Nauw samenwerken met interne teams om naleving van richtlijnen te waarborgen.

Wekelijks rapporteren over regioprestaties, waaronder verkoopvolumes, assortiment en klanttevredenheid.
Wat Jij Meebrengt
Opleiding
-
Een hbo- of universitaire opleiding in een bedrijfsgerelateerd vakgebied.
Ervaring
-
Minimaal 2 jaar B2B‑verkoopervaring, bij voorkeur binnen FMCG of gereguleerde sectoren (tabak, alcohol, cannabis).

Ervaring met verkoop aan zelfstandige retailklanten.
-
Aantoonbaar succes in het behalen van verkoopdoelen en het beheren van buitendienstgebieden.

Sterk begrip van de Nederlandse cannabismarkt en coffeeshopcultuur.
Vaardigheden & Competenties

Uitstekende mondelinge en schriftelijke communicatievaardigheden; vloeiend Nederlands, goede beheersing van Engels is een pre.

Veiligheidsvereisten

PBM kan vereist zijn afhankelijk van de werkzaamheden; het bedrijf verstrekt PBM en de benodigde training.

Defecte of slecht passende PBM moeten worden gemeld.

Werkzaamheden vinden plaats in een kantooromgeving, in coffeeshops, op reis en incidenteel in een teeltomgeving.

The Opportunity
The Sales Representative is responsible for building and managing long-term relationships with coffeeshops, ensuring our brand portfolio is well represented, compliant, and commercially successful across key regions. You will act as the main commercial contact for coffeeshop buyers and staff, drive sell-in and sell-through, and represent the company’s values in the market.
What You'll Do
Account Management

Manage a portfolio of coffeeshop accounts within assigned territories, build and maintain relationships.

Maintain regular contact with coffeeshop owners, buyers and budtenders to understand their needs, preferences and sales trends (visit assigned coffeeshops weekly).

Present product assortment, seasonal campaigns, and new SKU launches in alignment with company objectives.

Monitor and ensure accurate order fulfillment, delivery timelines, and stock levels in collaboration with the logistics team and the stores.
Sales & Growth
-
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets by actively promoting product ranges.
-
Identify opportunities to expand distribution and improve shelf presence in existing accounts.
-
Collect market intelligence (pricing, competitor activity, consumer trends) and report insights to the commercial team.
-
Negotiate commercial terms with defined company guidelines (e.g. LTO programs).
Brand & Merchandising

Ensure in-store visibility and compliance with Dutch regulatory restrictions on marketing and communication.

Support implementation of point-of-sale materials and training of coffeeshop staff on product knowledge.

Act as brand ambassador, representing the company at trade events, customer events, and coffeeshop networking functions.
Reporting & Compliance

Maintain accurate CRM records of customer interactions, menu information and feedback.

Work closely with internal teams to ensure all activities adhere to provided instructions.

Report on territory performance, including sales volume, product assortment and customers satisfaction on a weekly basis.
What You Bring
Education:
-
A university Degree in a business-related field.
Experience
-
Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in FMCG, or regulated industries (tobacco, alcohol, cannabis).

Experience selling to independent retail clients.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing field territories.

Strong understanding of Dutch cannabis landscape and coffeeshop culture.

Excellent written and verbal communication, with mastery of Dutch and proficiency in English an asset.

This position directly reports to the Sales Manager.

This position is field based within a specific region and requires regular travel to customers (4/5 days in field).
Safety Requirements
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required when performing work duties that may have the potential of risk to your health or safety. The Company will provide the required PPE. Employees will be trained in the proper use and care of any assigned PPE. It is your responsibility to report defective, damaged or lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly to your supervisor. This position operates in a professional office environment as well as a cultivation environment, in coffeeshops, and traveling. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
The ideal candidate will be located in the south of the Netherlands.
