Top Laundry is looking for a Boiler & Machine Operator / Operator to work in our main business location at 27 Technology Dr Sunshine West VIC 3020 and upcoming warehouse at Unit 4 209 Gillies St N WENDOUREE VIC 3355 If you are a skilled operator with a sound knowledge of mechanical skills, diagnostic problem-solving and want to take the next step, we want to hear from you.

Tasks and Duties:

• Operating and monitoring industrial laundry machinery and boiler systems to support the daily processing of hotel linen, hospital linen, aged care linen, hospitality towels, sheets, and uniforms.
• Prepare the factory for production operations, conducts pre-start equipment inspections, checks compressor air systems, and operates the steam boiler system to ensure safe and continuous steam supply for laundry production.
• Check boiler water levels before start-up to ensure the system operates safely and to prevent overheating or damage to the boiler equipment
• Open and monitor the burner system to ensure correct ignition and stable steam generation during operation
• Check the folder ironer system and conduct operational testing
• operating commercial laundry equipment
• Chemical mixing procedures and carries out routine machine maintenance

Requirements:

• At least Certificate III or AQF Certificate IV in relevant fields or equivalent;
• Standard Boiler Operator Licence;
• At least two years of relevant experience;
• Machine operation skills
• Problem-solving ability
• Workplace safety awareness
• Time management skills
