Job Summary

The Cost Accountant is responsible for planning, analyzing, and controlling costs within the organization. This role ensures accurate cost reporting, supports budgeting processes, and helps management make informed financial decisions to improve profitability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze production costs and prepare regular cost reports
• Monitor standard costs and investigate variances (material, labor, overhead)
• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems, procedures, and controls
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Prepare detailed cost analysis for products, projects, or departments
• Evaluate cost efficiency and recommend cost-saving measures
• Support inventory valuation and reconciliation processes
• Collaborate with operations and production teams to improve cost control
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Assist with audits by providing cost-related data and documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) preferred
• Proven experience in cost accounting or a similar role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and cost structures
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail

Pay: Php35,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month
