Job Summary

MFI Polytechnic Institute Inc. is looking for an experienced HR Manager to handle day-to-day HR operations with a strong focus on labor relations, compliance, and employee management.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can manage HR processes while handling DOLE-related matters, employee concerns, and government compliance requirements in a practical and professional manner.

You will work closely with senior management in addressing HR priorities and ensuring that HR operations remain compliant and responsive to the organization’s needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage core HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and separation
  • Ensure compliance with DOLE regulations, TESDA requirements, and Philippine labor laws
  • Handle employee concerns, disciplinary actions, and government-related matters
  • Support labor-management coordination and CBA-related processes
  • Oversee government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, HMO)
  • Maintain accurate HR records, 201 files, and documentation
  • Provide HR guidance to management on employment matters
  • Ensure smooth and professional day-to-day HR operations

What Success Looks Like

  • Clear understanding of current HR issues and compliance status
  • HR records and government requirements are organized and up to date
  • Immediate HR risks identified with practical action steps
  • Stable working relationship with employees and department heads

Qualifications

Must-have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related field
  • At least 5 years of HR experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Strong experience in labor relations and DOLE compliance
  • Good understanding of Philippine labor laws and government requirements
  • Ability to handle sensitive employee matters with professionalism and sound judgment
  • Willingness to work on-site in Ortigas, Pasig

Preferred:

  • Experience handling CBA or union-related environments
  • Background in education, training, or similar organizations
  • Strong documentation and compliance experience
