Pluspunten
+ If you like being coddled without growth, then the "Schwab Nice" culture is for you. + Sabbatical and RSU perks + Good health/dental/vision benefits + Management is not nosy + your immediate team will likely be a delight as you are navigating troubled waters together with a visionless and cold EC.
Minpunten
- Lack of transparency and trust - EC and leadership known to lie to staff - RTO and CRE handling abysmal - D&I initiatives are joke. RTO limits talent pool and favors those with the means to live near sites which are predominantly affluent, white, and a dual income. Major sites are in states that are unfavorable to women, minorities, trans, and LGBTQ+ community (TX, FL, AZ). Mandatory RTO forces marginalized groups to live in states that are hostile to their health/wellness/safety if they wish to work here (it also ensures that the talent pool will not draw these groups if they live in a state they feel safe). - Meager help for family care/leave; no help for aged parents/disabled family, no company discounts/perks, no student loan help. - layoffs and threats of layoffs that drag on for months. - Lots of a red tape that makes your job inefficient - You are on your own for career development or training.
