    If you are young and need experience you can climb the ranks quickly since turnover is so high.

    micromanagement owners will lie and avoid paying wages/benefits you are entitled to owners can't get along you have no creative freedom or autonomy you will be written up if you are not at your desk at exactly 8:15 you will be required to work after hours with no OT. wages are low, they will try to lowball you when hiring hiring process is absurdly long and repetitive company is splitting apart currently, sales...

    They've been receiving the advice they needed to hear for years. They choose not to listen to it and because of this their company is failing. It is unfortunate as this place had the potential to bring a lot of work and economic prosperity to the Niagara region.

    This so called company has zero respect for their employees, not to mention are so far behind in the technology that they are coming out with. With a mission to "create the highest performing consumer electronics that are smart, simple and stylish", is far from reality with what has recently been released..that's if it even does get released after all the problems they encounter. The company is run by two brothers...

    Like the previous review said..would be a waste of time to leave advice. It has been brought up countless times and management will do nothing about it or acknowledge how poorly they are treating people.

    Leaving this place was the biggest pro.

    The work environment of this company can be described in one word, TOXIC. The pressure, stress and micromanaging of the day to day tasks, along with the ridiculous processes and reports to complete the simplest of jobs becomes old real quick. Do not work for this company.

    A great place to work if you are interested in a challenging and fast paced work environment. CWD is a growth based comapny so you are always learning new things and they are open to new ways of achieving their goals. Pay, focus on goals and cool people to work with.

    It’s hard for the company to find solid people, as Niagara Falls doesn’t have the workforce we need.

    1. Compensation - Low to Average range compensation. However, if you are great in your job you may get raise and promotion quite fast (1-2 years). 2. Extra Hours - Many salaried employees need to put in extra hours to cover up for open/vacant positions. No overtime payment for salaried employees. 3. It requires less judgement from our side, and asking question to the people for empowering them. 2. Move to Toronto area.     Benefits for full time employees, established company, paid training and courses, company events a few times a year.

    Minpunten

    Micromanagement to a level that completely cripples the company's ability to do anything. No empowerment at all. Leadership does not lead by example (do what I say don't do what I do). Reviews are not done on time, some people have gone more than 2 years without a performance review or a cost of living increase let alone an actual raise. Lots of turnover.

    Listen to your employees! Don't ask for their opinions and then be surprised when they are unhappy that you completely disregard what they have said. Bring your salaries up to at least average for comparable roles. Give staff the opportunity to develop, you can't grow into a leadership role if you have no ability to make a decision.
