Extreme pressure, toxic manager, completely strict policies with no room for movement. You either follow the flock blindly or you cannot have any ideas. The churn is way too high and the expectations are for miracle workers. Even when you work 60 or more hours a week you will never be up to standard because it is impossible to achieve. If this is not enough within less than 1 year the entire department was gone and the brilliant people who worked at the team left including management. The transparency is one sided and for them you are a number only. It does not matter what else you bring they don't care about people and work/life balance. There is a monthly bonus that comes with a catch, every month is "end of quarter" which means the pressure is always on. You are hired as a CSM but work as a hardcore sales person, most of your days are spent asking for people to send their quotes.

There is no freedom or trust in employees. Transparency is there in paper but not in reality. I felt like it was more of a cult. A CSM is asked to handle around 200 to 300 clients. There is no place for quality and it is all about the numbers. CSMs are over worked and this is one of the reason most of them leave in a years time. Not a sustainable model and the managers are not competent.

Extreme pressure and excessive amount of work Mediocre base salary You have to be a sales machine and will be penalized for not hitting quotas (yes, CSMs priority will be to sell, at all costs) You're micromanaged and treated like a child Hierarquical and toxic culture Enourmous amount of stricts policies - there's no way to even keep track of them No trust, no autonomy, no flexibility High turnover - the entire CSM team has left and keeps leaving Team is always stressed, anxious, overworked No real and inspiring leadership This is a unique company, like no other - definitely the worst experience of my life

We are disappointed to hear that many aspects of working at KnowBe4 did not fit what you were looking for. Our policies are meant to set easy-to-follow guidelines and help quickly answer questions.
