Where to even start. This is probably the slowest organization I have ever worked for, decision-making is slow as there are so many stakeholders in the organization that have to have their say about everything. Poor internal controls on the investment process, with zero accountability if things go awry. The building is old and dusty, poorly ventilated, and unreachable in Zeist, going there feels like a dead end in your/my career. Nobody gets fired, nobody. I am all for taking good care of your employees but you cannot run a firm on that basis, you lose all dynamism and good performers get the hell out of there when they can!
