Reactie van ScalePad
3moThank you for sharing your experience. As a current employee we genuinely value this kind of feedback, even when it's difficult to read, and we want to engage with it honestly.
We do need to address one thing directly and clearly: the claim that there are five employees sharing the CEO's last name in senior management positions who are related to the CEO is false. This is not a matter of perspective or interpretation — it is factually incorrect, and we feel it's important to say so plainly for anyone reading this review. We hold ourselves to a high standard of integrity and expect the same standard to apply to feedback posted about us.
We also want to acknowledge what the reviewer themselves noted — that ScalePad is one of the better tech companies to work for in Canada. We agree, and we don't take that lightly. Three consecutive Great Place to Work certifications reflect direct, anonymous employee feedback — not company self-reporting — and we're proud of that recognition.
On our global team — we'd reframe this entirely. Building a diverse, international team across multiple time zones is not a weakness, it's a strength we've worked hard to cultivate. Our culture has remained cohesive and values-driven through significant growth and acquisitions, and we're proud of what that team represents.
Regarding our sales culture, we'd push back on the characterization. We are proud of the relationships we build with MSP partners and take our reputation in that community seriously.
Finally, to our current employee — if you have genuine concerns about strategic direction, team culture, or anything else raised here, we sincerely encourage you to use the feedback channels available to you. We use Officevibe consistently as a direct and anonymous way for employees to share what's on their mind, and that feedback is taken seriously. Glassdoor is a valid outlet, but we'd always prefer the opportunity to hear from you and act on it directly.
