The culture at Tiqets has shifted drastically. Dealing with the current management team and HR leadership has been incredibly difficult. There is a culture of hostility toward anyone who questions policy or tries to organize. After five years of working in a hybrid setup without issues, we (my department) are now forced into a mostly empty office for reasons that feel arbitrary and punitive rather than logical. Attempts to have a human conversation about these policies are met with coldness.
The reorganization in November was also a low point. It was handled without care for loyal employees, which has created an environment of deep distrust. It is important to mention that I write this as someone with a history of positive performance reviews; the friction here is entirely due to leadership style, not work output.
It is sad to see how far things have fallen since 2019. The first few years were fantastic, but the vibe is completely different now. I would not recommend Tiqets for experienced hires, though for young people starting out, the colleagues themselves are still wonderful and you can learn a lot from them.
