I do love the job itself. It's perfect for if you're a student because you get to do some admin or uni work on your laptop. The team of colleagues is also amazing and many of the members are lovely to talk to. The work itself is easy. But...

TrainMore just isn't a good company to work for in terms of what the company stands for and the benefits they offer. The pay is not good, which I will accept for the convenience of being able to do some uni work on my laptop, but some managers/clubs don't allow this even though it's really quiet in the club sometimes and there's not much to do, so what's the point of that? I am just as attentive to members when I have my laptop as when I don't. I would really recommend they drop this because this is a student job, and being able to do some admin or uni work is one of the main perks for students. Pay is also not good for managers and PTs. Until the beginning of 2026 full-time employees didn't receive a pension, so you couldn't work at TrainMore long-term. They only added a (low-paying) pension recently because managers and employees kept leaving. And worst of all, you don't even get any job security or paid leave if you're pregnant!!! I literally thought it was illegal in the Netherlands to not offer this. At such a large and profitable company like TrainMore that is insane to me. Of course you also don't get health insurance, and if you're sick you only get paid 70%, although I've still had to come in when I was sick. All of this just gives me the impression that they don't care about their employees, only profit, especially with how much they push sales on managers and PTs and how predatory their memberships are for customers (e.g. If you want to change club location you have to start your contract over).
