Those who don’t aspire to climb the career ladder often face discrimination and threats of termination, fostering a culture of fear rather than support. In many cases, leadership has little understanding of the actual work their teams are doing, as those in leadership roles tend to be the ones who align with higher-ups rather than those with a deep grasp of day-to-day operations. There’s no real value placed on the people doing the work — only the results matter. HR is not a reliable resource, as they prioritize supporting management over advocating for employees. Compensation is lower than in similar positions at other companies, and the benefits package doesn’t cater to employees’ needs. The company is bogged down by unnecessary bureaucracy, which hampers productivity.
