None worth mentioning in my experience.

I watched and listened as incompetent coworkers denied legally required COBRA coverage to former employees of client companies, then deny the error over and over, until the employee had to obtain coverage elsewhere, at the last minute, subjecting them to unnecessary stress, costing them thousands in extra money for no reason, and exposing them to a lack of medical coverage. Then they made the now uninsured former employee jump through hoops to try, unsuccessfully, to correct Aon's errors. Horrible, horrible, incompetent group at best, crooked at worst.

Large company does mean that Tech/HR support usually involves an 800 number and call center.

Pluspunten

Great role to transition into the insurance industry. Many resources and opportunities to expand technical knowledge. Client visits are great if you like to travel. Lucky to have a manager who doesn’t micromanage. If you’re organized, driven, and good at communicating you’ll do great.

Minpunten

Can be stressful at times around busy renewal cycles. Travel often depending on industry and clients.
