Upper management has no idea what anyone does and believes "rightsizing" is the only solution to any problem, you may be laid off even when there is plenty of work to do. Whoever is left behind will be stuck working 80+ hour weeks to keep up. Coworker who was there 40 years got 4 weeks of severance, shameful treatment of someone who was so dedicated.

The company's newest CEO, Patrick, only cares about getting back to a Cybersecurity company as fast as possible. Can't sell the company fast enough, but buyers can't get past due diligence periods.
