Flex tolerates a toxic work culture from their most senior leaders. My director, literally, yelled at me daily, usually throughout the day. He physically grabbed me and forced me in the direction he wanted me to move. He threatened to fire me or replace me at least once a week. I went to the then director of HR who did absolutely nothing. After she was let go I went to her successor who told me there was no record of me speaking with HR before. And she did nothing. Unable to tolerate the work environment, I left. The company doesn't take safety seriously. We had shelving collapse resulting in an employee needing medical attention. The person tasked with designing and building storage has no training, no mechanical background, and no analysis is being performed to validate if the storage can hold 1,000+ pounds. There's no budget for professionally designed storage and, again, I was threatened for raising this as a concern. I learned today this same director is continuing to use me as a scapegoat despite me no longer working there.

I worked for flex for over 10 years as a repair tech. The pay was good and comparable to the pay in the area for the job. The policies for the job was good and they were not known to pull things like at some companies. They were very culture oriented and didn't discriminate against aged employees. We had some that had been there for over 20 years which I think is awesome. The management was great and the benefits were really good. they actually listened to the employees and recently changed the benefits provider because of the complaints from the employees. Sadly the 2 contracts I was with died. I made it to nearly the end. they were very loyal to the employees over the temps. With the contract going out they provided a severance. During the 2020 covid mess they didn't pull any tricks like some companies valuing our knowledge and experience. They will be missed but I was able to land on my feet afterward.

Minpunten

The hours were crazy. It went by the inbound and how much work was available. I never knew when I was going to be getting off. Some of what caused the decline of the contract was the lowering of inbound caused people to hold onto their units making their aht to get worse which made us look bad which ment we were not getting the new units and started to loose the ones we had and also lowered the inbound further. I know the end was coming sadly.
