Pluspunten

The laid back atmosphere, casual dress code, employee discounts. The thing with this setup is that it is pretty interchangeable with any other customer service job. The moderate pay and laid back atmosphere may or may not reflect the reality that the company knows that they aren't changing their employees' lives with what they offer so why pester them too much. If you've got bills to pay, hopefully this is supplemental income or you are a student that goes to school when you are not at work. Otherwise, this is only good to hold you over until something better comes along-although it doesn't have to be too bad while you are there. So it's up to you to make it as good as it can be while you are there.

Minpunten

The growing pains of a startup, supervisors and managers that do little to nothing to make you feel encouraged and marginal pay. After a while it gets repetitive and uninteresting, but again, it is what you make it so find ways to keep yourself engaged. In theory, their setup should be quite good, but you will spends your days plugging up the leaks. This is the nature of customer service with this company so don't focus on how poorly things run at times. Just be helpful to the customers. Other than that, promotions offer very minor increases, but much more responsibility.

Pluspunten

There are some genuinely nice people here but that is the only real positive. Even they are slowly leaving because the culture has become too toxic to stay in.

Minpunten

Highly political culture with no real promotions. Leadership is insecure, ego driven, and more focused on protecting themselves than supporting employees. Micromanagement is constant, communication is poor, and priorities shift without explanation. Quiet layoffs happen with no transparency and usually protect the same small group. The new US marketing lead has made the culture even worse. He was difficult to work with before and has only become more problematic in a higher role. There is constant questioning, no clear vision, and nonstop steering that sends teams in circles. It is hard to understand how he keeps moving up the ladder despite repeated negative scores and consistent employee feedback. Independent analysis, including the Grizzly Research report, highlights similar issues such as unstable leadership, lack of direction, and a business that feels like it is declining. What the report describes matches what employees experience inside the company. Even if the CEO or HR choose to ignore these problems, they remain the reality employees deal with every day.
