From day one I attempted to prove something to this company, First it was working hard doing manual labor tasks. Then, after some time went by I started to suggest improvements within the warehouse, I also built systems to make things easier to help the company grow. I did catch the eye of management & they agreed to assist me with pursuing those goals.
But once the higher-ups got involved they just wanted us to go back and push boxes even though I produced results for the company. I was doing all of this at a starting wage of an employee. So, I wasn't getting reasonable compensation for my time and resources.
I did address this to the "USA "CEO" " & the CEO but they didn't think it wasn't worth the time and title to address the issue, instead they got someone else who ended up saying they appreciated what I did but couldn't promise anything. I've heard this many times from companies I know where it leads.
This mentality of companies is devastating, I've experienced this time over again with the same results. Things are hard enough but when big companies can't even hold themselves accountable... Something needs to change, no wonder people are losing faith in bigger companies.
