- wrong people promoted always - no possibility for a local to be promoted - very hard to explain something to Chinese colleagues/managers because of language barrier - too many overtime hours/no flexibility in working hours - no permanent positions, usually contract is 1 or 2 years with extension so people make other plans in the meantime
