Pluspunten

Infor offers a wide range of innovative, respected products, which are relatively easy to sell. With the current executive team there finally seems to be something of a long-term plan in place. This is a decent career starting point for recent college grads with little or no work experience. If you are willing to be patient, work for peanuts, and relocate without a pay increase, there is some potential for advancement. Perfect for young adults who still live with their parents, because quite frankly this job won't pay the bills. Generous PTO.

Minpunten

Management flat out lies about financial and advancement opportunities. Very shady commission practices; they want you to earn it but don't want to pay it. While the company pushes speed as its main marketing focus, internally things move laughably slow; it took eight months (eight!) before I had a commission compensation plan in writing. Any discrepancies with commissions or other salary issues take weeks, if not months, to get resolved, and never seem to work out in the employee's favor. Promotions, most of which were half-way across the country with no increase in pay, are based on the number of interactions (emails, phone calls, etc) one does in a day, so someone who sends out 100 emails /day to invalid addresses will be promoted over those actually generating revenue opportunities. Be forewarned, they sell this as a stepping-stone to a sales position, but a BDR at Infor is a telemarketing position. There is little to no sales training or preparation for advancement; BDRs are not even allowed to communicate with the sales team. Infor seems determined to become Oracle 2.0, but until they are willing to pony up and pay for talent on all levels they will continue to be a second-tier organization. Also, if you treat your employees like children, don't be surprised when they act that way. Ping-pong and office parties do not make up for training, advancement, and compensation.

Pluspunten

Great company to work for. Flexible. Great mentors and access to leadership.

Minpunten

Leadership changes frequently Infor has a few "focus" industries - its best to be in one of those lines of business if you want to maximize sales compensation.

Pluspunten

I like working at Infor. I’ve been here for roughly five years. I enjoy the work, believe in the product, and genuinely like the people I work with and for.

Minpunten

There has recently been a very strong “AI-first” push across the company. To be clear, I understand the value. AI absolutely can streamline operations and free people up to focus on higher-value work. Used correctly, it’s useful. The problem is that there does not appear to be a clear or consistently enforced policy around what constitutes appropriate use versus misuse or outright abuse. There should be better guidance around where AI helps productivity, where it introduces risk (especially around company information being entered into public tools), and where the line is between use and replacement of basic job responsibilities. For example, I recently had a coworker explain that they created AI automation to read and manage their emails so they rarely have to review or respond themselves, while acknowledging things are likely missed. The same person records meetings for transcripts, leaves their laptop during the call, then relies on AI afterward to summarize what happened. At a certain point, it raises a legitimate question: are we using AI to improve productivity, or are we using it to avoid participating in the job altogether? Right now, reactions internally seem split. Some employees view this as a serious abuse of the technology, while others appear fully on board with it. That disconnect alone suggests the company needs clearer expectations and policy guidance. AI should support human judgment and critical thinking. Not eliminate the need for employees to engage in their work entirely. And how does the company determine when that is being done?
