Pluspunten

I worked for 10+ years (7+ years at onsite). This is genuine review for India location. Not like other FAKE ones. PROS: NONE LEFT NOW. Onsite was only PRO even that has vanished. Don't go for their FAKE marketed BRAND Value!

Minpunten

1) No growth. They work in fresher model. Laterals have no value and no growth. Sheer use and throw policy and Fresher model. They will hold your promotions, hike so you yourself get frustrated and leave. 2) 99.99% managers are most dumbest. They do not have any technical knowledge. All they do is Politics to save themself from their manager and promote favorism. Most PMs can't even do Project Estimations. They just use Excel templates like dumb. 3) If you are TL: They will want you to do all roles of SE, SSE, TL and PM also. PM will be just parasite doing all his work from you. 4) Your Performance in project and technical expertise is not considered for appraisal. Appraisal cycle happens every 6 months. Manager gives to much weightage to non sense(80%) and less weightage to actual work(20%). Managers keep asking you: WHAT VALUE ADDS you provided to PROJECT? HOW may AUTOMATIONS you provided? How many Client Appreciation emails (They expect this every 6 months)? What extra you did outside project?? IF you are best performer in project and technically very STRONG still will most likely get AVERAGE rating (MET Expectations) due to incompetent managers. If you have same Client for long period then appreciation once in year will not suffice for them they want client appreciations in every 6 month appraisal cycle. Have seen folks send non sense emails just to clients just to get 'Thanks you' and appreciation to fill quota :) 5) VERY LAGARD Culture. Even to get small small thing you have to do follwups multiple times and raise ahd requests. 6) Very very poor pay. Take home is LESS due to Variable pay, PF bonus, expenses stated in point #7. Even if you have good performace rating they will not pay you variable component fully You will get it only in range of 35%-75% in name of recession, slowdown, not maintain avg working hours etc . 7) They charge you for even basic small things like Parking charges (Rs 500 for 2 wheelers, 1000 for 4 Wheelers), Canteens are unhygienic and costly, Infosys Trust (Rs350 to 600 depending on your band/role). 8) Security guards are dumb and force trained to harass employees. Even after machine checking they will to physical checking of bags. This is not just at main entrance but at every building wherever you move within campus. 9) You will feel LOST in DUMB CROWD. All your carreer will be ruined due to idiotic policies, idiotic managers. On top of that you will have to work for non sense crap projects with crap low IQ collegues. 10) WORK from HOME is for name SAKE. In most Units like Banking, Insurance clients its now allowed. For some client where WFH is allowed most of the managers and DMs will pay you less bonus/variable payment since WFH allowed. Most mediocore Indian holes! 11) HR keeps marketing non-sense products to fool young freshers Example: Banks, Bikes, cars, shopping, Credit cards insurance health checkup blood tests etc with no real company discount or VALUE to employee. Its just pure fake propaganda/marketing to earn commission. 12) We have to maintain 9.25 hours average every Quarterly in office premise even if you are on BENCH. Totally unethical. 13) OFFICE commute is minimum 2-3 hours daily to and fro in most locations 14) They fake profiles with CLIENT and push for DUMB fresher's, SE, SSE for their margins. 95% workforce here is TECHNICALLY DUMB or average. IF you are talented/Skilled you will REGRET every moment. 15) Notice period is 3 months. How many companies that offer you will consider waiting that long? so your options in india are very limited!! 16) Most fresher's and junior employees remain on BENCH for long time, TALENT mgmt. is very poor. On contrary you can get resources with basic skills for projects! Bench employees don't have sitting arrangement, computer/laptops, internet etc. Feel sad for them as they keep roaming in Campus with no proper place to Sit. Really Shameful. 17) Management (PM/SPM/DMs) and HR don't even have basic ethics of communication to respond, acknoloedge, follow-ups etc. HRs are arrogant holes and amateur kids who are never reachable :) 18) There are Infinite such CONS but will Stop here :( IF you are talented DONOT JOIN this COMPANY at any COST even if you are job less (if you can afford) else you will REGRET every moment. IF you are Dumb like most ITians you can join and somehow survive to make your bread cursing them all time. CURSE them from my bottom of my heart for ruining careers of many people (I know 80+ cases myself). Disclaimer: I had good rating thoughout my long stint and most of my stint was onsite. Finally resigned from this rogue company after coming back offshore India since there were no moral ethics being followed in any aspects.
