Pluspunten
I worked on a contract at a remote location for Lockheed Martin. The company as a whole provided great support. The area manager I worked under was a very weak as a leader but of the all other managerial staff was very competent. My immediate manager allowed me to do my job without micromanaging and my co-employees were easy to work with. Lockheed offered online training which was beneficial considering my location. The company offered medical, dental and investment benefits which were comparable to other large corporations. Would I work for them again…..YES.
Minpunten
The downside of working with Lockheed was that of my Area Manager. Trying to get a response from him was via emails or phone calls was very difficult. That was the only weakness that I experienced with the company. I feel that the company should have been able to recognize that he was overwhelmed with his position and arranged for something he would could be more suitable with handling.
