The people - the team at RES Software is great. The products - current products are quality and well thought out, future products are exciting. The quality - the team will not stand for poor quality, so great to be associated to. The market - a very interesting market sector with a strong and tight-knit channel. The competition - on the Workspace Virtualization side, AppSense are a very strong competitor with a good technology. This makes for a good market with both vendors continually innovating to stay ahead of each other! RES Software are the only vendor in this space with such a complete and all-encompassing solution. As an employee, this is the BEST fun, as you can speak to a potential customer knowing that you can help them! With over 95% renewal rate on Solutions Assurance, it is reassuring to know that customers like what RES Software do, and keep coming back year on year.
Minpunten
There have been a lot of managerial changes over the years, resulting in a reputation of instability. The changes were done for the right reasons though, so talk to anyone within RES Software if you have any questions. In previous years there have been some dirty tricks played by 'competitive' vendors in this space, resulting in some poor opinions on the outside world. Again, try RES Software for yourself and form a true opinion! It was tough to launch new countries (subsidiaries) in the early days as a European (read Dutch) Software vendor. I am pleased to report though that these teething troubles are a thing of the past, as our US Office is now at full force, and RES Software have many large scale Enterprise deployments out there. Sometimes it is frustrating working for a company that is growing organically. It would be nice to expand more quickly.
