This company seems very confused about its direction. They frequently change policies and only reveal them at the last moment. I was interviewed and hired as a Backend Engineer, but assigned to an Infrastructure Engineer role without even being consulted. The same happened to others who applied for Frontend positions — even though their contracts stated Frontend/Backend, they were placed in DevOps/Infrastructure roles instead. They are very good at tricking and abusing your difficult situation. Before accepting the offer, I requested and received written confirmation by email of a letter of intent for mortgage purposes. However, the letter they eventually provided was useless for securing a mortgage because they had quietly changed the contract policy from 1 year + indefinite to 1 year + 1 year + indefinite. I only learned about this change after I had already made significant arrangements. As a result, I ended up in a very difficult situation: while I had been preparing to buy a place, I was forced to rent for another year instead only in a week time left to move out. I know people who got fired even though they have indefinite contract and being offered very little amounts way below what they should offer fairly.
