Pluspunten
Most people are smart, helpful, and friendly Good swag with lots of t-shirts...so. many. shirts. Excellent benefits Great office culture in Austin (pre-COVID) Lots of training opportunities and opportunities for growth if you want to follow SF's prescribed career paths. Salesforce is probably one of the least evil corporations, but a lot of the good press evaporates with the fine print.
Minpunten
Even before the SF acquisition, teams were constantly understaffed. Management always had a lot of things to say about how they were ramping hiring with little to no focus on attrition. Because of the focus on hiring, newer employees aren't nearly as technical as they used to be. Sales strategy, account teams, and management change every year. There are a handful of employees who are extremely technical but extremely rude, toxic, and seemingly above reproach. Technical Support is overworked and underpaid (much like every other company). SF acquisition has emphasized focus on case metrics, impacting CSAT. The SF acquisition has turned Tableau into a massive corporation, but there are still lots of silos and accountability gaps during the transition period. Administrative work and required trainings are constant and nearly always need time outside of the workday to complete.
