It was such a good company, but since acquisition of CS the reorganization and manager changes have demoralise employees. Good managers have no say in layoff list, as it comes from business head and final message is communicated by business head bypassing manager. Need focus ratings are given to even good performed with good comments by manager because those are decided by central HR and business head. The approach is to make sure natural attrition or unplanned layoff. Every quarter some or other teams loose there talent to layoff.
