Pluspunten
The Philly studio has a really healthy culture. people are incredibly smart and do great work. I've never seen a greater emphasis on supporting employees well-being, and looking at new ways to do so. Current studio head Jessica Gamache enforces this and sets a healthy example on working hours, not taking work TOO seriously, and pushing back on clients.
Minpunten
It is part of this larger corporate entity and you sometimes feel that pushing down. Layoffs most recently (April 2023) but also just in some of the company policies (e.g. requiring in-office time, when we were mostly remote) Other studios seem to have a bit more of a rise and grind attitude, you see them working late more often. If Jess left, would philly be the same?
