I was invated to a Senior Java Developer recruitment day on 12th of May, I had 2 technical interviews, then I have to wait for an assessment test, another Skype interview and a final Skype interview...process too much long, you can't leave a person pending for 2 months, because it'easy that he/she can find other in the meantime.
They are big but very disorganized, they booked flight for event in times I didn't like but their travel office was not able to change, they didn't ever try to change (my wife, who works for a similar company in travel office, said to me that it was possible).
For this disguise I have to take 2 vacation days from my job, and I had to pay for meals that now they don't reimburse because of company policies, but they didn't share these policies with you before!
After 2 months I still haven't completed their reimbursement process, after a mail on 31st of May I had to wait until yesterday for receiving another mail for the next steps, and only after 3 reminder mail also sent to other people.
During the hiring process, when I had Skype interviews they didn't remember that I was at their event, they talked to you as if it were the first time they meet you, it seems that you start again their hiring process every time...a great lack of communication!
After all these interviews equals to each other, and after another period with no responses, I wrote to HR responsible, and she replied to me that I was rejected because they was looking for a team player and not for an individual as they believe I am...and in every interview I said that I have always worked in team and I like to do it...
The other strange thing is that I was the one to solicit their final feedback, after 2 months of process!
Applying for ASML is only been a wasting of time, my advice is to stay away from this company, at least for the Dutch headquarters
