You don't get an interview. You are provided with the most ridiculous 2-part assessment. To think I was actually excited to be considered for this role, all for the most impersonal disregard of my time. Doing calculations across several pages of Excel sheets???? Excuse me? If you are someone who is even a little unsure about how calculations/formulas work inside an Excel sheet, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. No role should require such labor before even speaking with a human. SHAME ON LINJER FOR THIS DISRESPECTFUL PROCESS. As a strong candidate for any role within influencer marketing, I deserved more, and you do too. Trust me.

1. Sample Customer Care Exercise
Since this role (as well as many other roles/responsibilities within Linjer) involves communicating with outside stakeholders and representing our brand, we'd like for you to complete an exercise that Customer Care Specialist applicants work through as part of their initial screen. This is a series of 5 example customer inquiries to which we ask you to respond according to [they send you their “Tone of Voice” guidelines].
Please complete all of your responses in one sitting - we'll ask for your start and end times so we can get a sense of how quickly you work through the questions, but no need to get anxious about timing!
2. Excel Test
This is a test of your excel skills and ability to learn something new. This should take about 30 minutes to an hour to complete, and you’ll need Excel or Google Sheets. [They tell you to copy and paste the excel sheet they send]
We ask that you try to complete both exercises within 5 calendar days.
