During the final year of her PhD, Eline Verbon realized she did not want to continue being a scientist. She wanted to do more than study a tiny fraction of this world on her own. With a clear vision, she set out to find a new opportunity and stumbled upon Nedap University in 2018. 1,5 years later, Eline graduated from our software development program and has been contributing to an even more enjoyable world as a software developer at Nedap Livestock Management ever since.

Last weekend we organized the Nedap RAT Race (Running Alone Together) and it was a great success! 29 Nedappers across different business units and countries ran together Sunday morning. After some handwaving on Slack, the imaginary starting shot rang at 10:00 sharp, and we all ran our own distance and shared pictures and logs. Some stats: 29 Nedappers ran 368 kilometers ranging between 3.6K and a full marathon. The most popular distance was the 10K (5x), but we also had 2 full marathons, a 25k, three half marathons, and many 5K+ runs! Next to the Dutch colleagues also a German and Canadian colleague joined!
