The is a saying repeated by Amazonians which is “The best offer you get from Amazon is your hiring offer”, which means if you didn’t get a good one in hiring, you will never get a good one with Amazon. - Internal transfers and lateral movements come with 0 increase in compensation, mentioned clearly in the internal jobs portal. - 5 days working in the office like how good old baby boomers used to do it 👴👍 - HR team is non-existent, no one to welcome you and no one to talk to you, years until bow and I haven’t met a single HR person in Amazon, not even in the interviewing process. - HR changes rules in regards to promotions every 6 months, ensuring most promises of promotions go unfulfilled.
