There is a lot of work always. No worklife balance. Constant pressure of being pipped. Since everyone is in constant pressure of being pipped, people end up putting in 120 % of effort. Eventually one who puts in 105 % efforts is pipped. So the effort margin and pressure constantly keeps on increasing
