The staffing model carries real risk that is not disclosed during recruitment. Between projects, you are placed on the bench with no guaranteed path back to meaningful work. The process of finding the next assignment is opaque, inconsistent, and heavily dependent on internal relationships. Extended bench periods can end in termination with little warning. Being assigned to whatever project is available regardless of fit is not just uncomfortable. It can be genuinely harmful. Misaligned roles over extended periods contribute to burnout and mental health deterioration. There is no meaningful process to flag when an assignment is damaging your wellbeing. Raising concerns does not lead to change. For neurodiverse employees specifically: the public positioning around inclusion does not reflect what happens when accommodation is actually needed.
