Pluspunten
Some interesting work for designers and researchers, and a strong working culture in SPARCK. However, BJSS undervalued designers and struggled to understand or sell the value of design to clients.
Minpunten
An unsafe place for women. Leadership at BJSS routinely ignored misogyny in the workplace and retained or promoted men who harassed women. The gender pay gap was enormous and BJSS made no effort to close it. A badly managed restructure in 2024 led to many people leaving the company and much poorer working conditions.
