Pluspunten
- FT hours (40+) available. Job description says 5.5hrs 5x/wk, but realistically it's 6-8hrs 5-6x/wk. OT kicks in at 40. - Decent benefits. I've used tuition reimbursement as an hourly and management to continue attending school.
Minpunten
There's no sugarcoating this gig: either you're up for a physically challenging job in a productivity-driven environment with reasonable compensation, or you're not. Yes, this is a management position and the primary responsibility is supervising hourly union employees, but this remains a very physically demanding job. You will walk 5-10 miles on concrete every day, and your feet will hurt. You will be lifting large, awkward, 70-150lb packages, and your arms will hurt. This is an open warehouse in CO with some exterior work, so you will be both freezing and burning throughout the year. You will come home exhausted and filthy with box grime and sweat. Typical shift is 0300ish-1000ish, changes weekly based on forecasted workload, but start time will be around midnight or earlier during most of Nov and Dec. Don't take this job if you aren't ready to be pushed every night.
