Ik heb via een recruiter gesolliciteerd. De procedure duurde 4 weken. Ik heb gesolliciteerd bij Autodesk (San Francisco, CA) in jun 2014
Sollicitatiegesprek
Phone screen with executive recruiter, hiring manager, then informal phone interviews, and finally in person interviews. They also use remote videoconference technology to include more people in the interview process (from different locations). I was pretty impressed with the speed of the process.

Vraag 1
Specific examples about what I had done previously and what my particular role was. Emphasize the word "I" because they want to know what YOU did, not what your team did.
Ik heb via een werknemersdoorverwijzing gesolliciteerd. Ik heb gesolliciteerd bij Autodesk
Sollicitatiegesprek
Standard, screener, hiring manager, panel, back to hiring manager. Process took four months, with the recruiter hit or miss on communication, shifting needs, timelines, etc. Felt very disorganized only to be ghosted in the end, and not told they filled the role. Had to email the hiring manager for clarity. No follow up, no feedback after five rounds.

Sollicitatiegesprek
Long, drawn out interview process consisting of 9 interviews. Most interviews lacked clarity of purpose and the interviewers could not articulate how the role would fit into the organizational structure or collaborate with their team.

Take home case study question on how Autodesk should approach a new market opportunity.
The interview process was long, and they spread out all the conversations over nearly 2 weeks while still calling all of that "one" round.
Some interviewers were great, and they made me excited to work there. Others however made me question if this was the right place for me. Two of them made mildly offensive comments about my startup experience, as in their mind only big company experiences seem to matter. One of them also referred to my time being an entrepreneur as "retirement". I haven't had such a biased experience in a company that I used to admire so much, which otherwise claimed to have high standards and values.
After the interview, I never got a feedback or survey link, which told me this organization doesn't even want to improve. I'm glad I escaped working for a company that has senior leaders who don't value people's diverse experiences.

How is any of your experience in retirement applicable to what we are building here at Autodesk?
