- Talk with a recruiter - Take home assignment - Interview with a product person First step was a in-depth chat with the recruiter, where we discussed my experience so far, my wants and needs; the company, the role and the process. Second step was a take home assignment to build a Spring CRUD app. The requirements where very clear yet no so strict so you can have some fun while doing the task. Third step was a talk with the product owner where we talked about culture, the role, the challenges of the domain. Some culture related questions. I did not reach the next step, as I might have been a bit too honest with my answers regarding banking, which they deemed I might not be a good fit. Although I was not amused for the reason we did not move forward, I understand. Overall, it was a fun experience. Everyone was super friendly and kind, would do it again :)

Ein erstes Kennenlernen, bei dem die Code Factory vorgestellt wurde und ich Gelegenheit hatte, meine eigenen Fragen zu stellen. Anschließend wurde mir eine Coding Challenge zugeschickt. Umfang und gegebene Zeit waren vollkommen im Rahmen. Insgesamt sollten nicht mehr als vier Stunden aufgewendet werden. Außerdem gab es eine kleine Aufwandsentschädigung in Form eines Gutscheins. Es folgte ein technisches Interview. Es wurden allgemeine Fragen zu den verwendeten Technologien gestellt. Die Coding Challenge wurde nur am Rand besprochen. Im letzten Schritt wurde ich dem gesamten Team vorgestellt. Der Bewerbungsprozess war sehr gut durchstrukturiert und ich musste nie länger als ein paar Tage auf den nächsten Schritt warten.
