Initially I received an email from the HR recruiter in Vietnam who requested a video call via Skype. After which I was explained the next step process with the company would include a video interview with the CMO who was based in Vietnam with a project portion, then a face-to-face interview with the CMO when he travelled to the UK. At which point the feedback would be a job offer.
After going through all the processes, I received the offer, firstly verbally and then written in email as we awaited a contract to be delivered by the company hired solicitors. There was long waiting period for the drafted contract, which I never got to see due to some redlining edits which prompted the CMO to send back the contract to the solicitors. Another long waiting period followed by where my starting date was closing in and I hadn't gotten any communication or responses from the CMO.
Two weeks post my start date, I received communications from one of the chairman explaining to me that the offer was never legitimate. Apparently, there was never a contract drafted, although I have communication via email stating that one was drafted and being delivered. The chairman continued to explain that the CMO was resigning, however, I don't believe that to be true from their website. And the big hitter was that the company strategyn has changed and the marketing team would be in Europe not in the UK.
I had a horrible experience with this company and would not recommend it for anyone looking for stability, longevity, and progression. Sentifi comes across as a cowboy show being run by an unprofessional crowd.
