Internal recruiter asked me two questions - what sort of role I was after, and whether I had any kids and what their ages were. She was shocked when I withdrew my application.

This was not up to the expectation and feedback is never shared even after the multiple follow ups. Interview was not that difficult. Questions were good. But feedback should be shared.

Interview process was ( Telephonic with the director and then followed by 3 hour f2f with 2 managers and 1 round with architect ) at the middle of the conversation the director said if everything goes well will talk to you at the end. The director spoke in a tone where things sounded very positive for me at the end. I mentioned to him that i hold an offer and would not want to disappoint the other company , if you want to hire me do it soon. the next day morning the HR called me and setup an interview with director in US . the conversation sounded like it ended in a positive note. Nobody called me for a day after the interview , i waited and did not have the number of HR, i somehow got hold of one guy who said i will find out . with a lot of difficulty explained to him . that if i do not hear within couple of hours i will be losing the other offer i hold. the guy told me that the HR will call in half hour and explain to you all details regarding the offer. That was the crucial time ,i had another interview to attend , I had another company waiting for me to confirm on accepting the offer and the HR from servicenow did not call me did not have anybody respond. i missed the other interview thinking that the HR will call . I was not able to believe that a company as big as servicenow did this and when i read all the reviews in glassdoor , i figured out this is a common practice among service now HR team . very sad that they do not consider a human being worthy enough to be given a call and tell him what actually the status is.
