Yet another company trotting out tired cliches -- "we are the next Google" "we only hire rock stars" "our IPO is just around the corner" blah blah blah.
I suffered through 3 interviews and the arrogance was just nauseating. Although I got the offer, and absolutely need a job in this terrible economy, I ultimately hd to pass. Certainly, the company has one decent product and $20m in revenues after 5 years. Big whoop, Groupon went to $1b in sales in under one year. That was the next Google; so please y'all no more claiming to be the next Google -- it just makes you sound ridiculous
.
Even in this economy, true rock star companies are the ones that realize that a job interview is still very much a two-way street. When you're talking to Rock Star Candidates. Oh yea...
